And In Between

And In Between is a personal project launched in response to growing interest in expanding beyond the quick-post format as established in my existing blog; A Boy In Mid Air.

On And In Between I aim to expand on the posts that are published to A Boy In Mid Air into something that has further substance than just an image post with an influx of tags relating the image, this is an opportunity for me to conduct a research and write my findings. To give myself and the audience an insight into the subject matter.

Certainty

Certainty is a sans-serif typeface with heavy influence of Herb Lublain’s Avant Garde and few notable contemporary British sans-serif typefaces, this is currently under development. This is one of many parts from a larger project, the project was pre-dominately focused on creating a sub-brand for an already existing brand. A venue to sell a range of healthy product, especially unprocessed fruits. This collateral included design for identity, packaging and print along.

Five to Nine

Five to Nine is a response to an assessment brief completed at Billy Blue College of Design. A comprehensive brand identity was created for an initiative I conceptualised through in-depth research.

Five to Nine is an initiative focused on establishing a well equipped overnight cooperative working space for people who are engaged in the creative industry based on the following findings; there is a commonplace among the people who are studying and/or working in the creative industry, that they would find themselves working late into the night, at which time they incidentally get more productive.

A Boy In Mid Air

A Boy In Mid Air is an online visual repository curated by myself, a catalogue of images, ideas & beauty that moves me and hopefully others.

I designed and developed a custom theme for A Boy In Mid Air with the following in mind; ease of access to a vast reference library, all of which are carefully tagged with relevant keywords and linked back to the source. I utilised an amazing script developed by Andreas Pihlström to help with the automation of sizing each post into a grid system I set up for the blog to achieve interesting result and consistency.
